Radar

Once you have paired your Dash to your Garmin Varia radar sensor, choose your display and notification settings by going to Files > Manage sensors and selecting your radar device.

Display settings

• Left column: Approaching cars are displayed along the left side of data pages while in a ride.
• Right column: Approaching cars are displayed along the right side of data pages while in a ride.
• Off: No radar display on screen.

Notifications

Enable visual and/or audio alerts for when cars are approaching (yellow to red) and about to pass the rider. When audio alerts are enabled, the Dash will beep in both cases. When visual alerts are enabled, a warning indicator will appear on both sides of the current data page.

• Overlay: Visual indication of car proximity warning.
• Tone: Audio indication of car proximity warning.
• Both: Both visual and audio indication of car proximity warning.
• Off: No notification displayed.
