The Dash locates climbs within your courses and displays additional information to help guide you through each climb. To enable the Climb feature, go to Settings > Dash settings > Maps and courses > Climb and choose from:
Climb size is determined as a factor of both distance and ascent for each climb. The minimum distance for any climb is 400 meters or 0.25 miles with a minimum average gradient of 3%.
The Dash can start a new lap at the start and the end of each climb. To enable or disable climb laps, go to Settings > Dash settings > Maps and courses > Climb laps.
As you approach each climb, the climb notification overlay will indicate your progress toward the start of the climb and display the distance and total ascent for the upcoming climb. Select Dismiss to stay on your current page and Go to climb to move to the climb page.
The climb list displays a list of all climbs present in your course. On the climb list, view:
Select a completed climb to view a summary of your performance or select an upcoming climb to view the profile and climb details.
The climb profile page displays a profile of the climb, including a number of additional features to help you pace, track your progress, and view what is coming ahead.
