Connecting to GPS

To locate GPS satellites, Dash must be in clear view of the sky.

1. Turn on the Dash.
2. Place Dash in clear view of the sky.
3. Unless GPS is disabled, Dash should typically lock on to GPS satellites in a minute or less.

Note: An overlay message will appear if the Dash is not able to find GPS lock and may take additional time (up to 3 minutes). Follow on screen prompts if the Dash is being turned on for the first time, has moved over 300 miles since the last GPS lock, or has not been turned on for a period of over 3 months.
